What does Miracle-L do

What does Miracle-L do

Miracle-L is a targeted skincare product designed to improve skin condition, corely leveraging high-concentration hyaluronic acid microcapsule technology and VC-IP derivative in synergy to focus on deep hydration and uniform skin tone;

Clinical tests show that after 4 weeks of continuous use, 92% of subjects experienced a 28% decrease in Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL) (tested by a third-party laboratory), while 87% reported improved skin brightness, with significant effects especially on dryness-induced roughness and local dullness;

The formula has passed dermatological tests to certify its mildness, with only 1.3% of sensitive skin users experiencing slight redness during trials, making it suitable for daily skin maintenance of most skin types.

How It Works

The two core ingredients are processed via microencapsulation/nanotechnology, with penetration efficiency 3 times higher than traditional creams. Clinical trials on 200 people over 8 weeks show that 92% of subjects had improved skin barrier stability (reduced TEWL), and 79% had decreased makeup caking.

Core Ingredients

Ceramide

Ceramide is a lipid naturally secreted by the skin (accounting for 40-50% of stratum corneum lipids), but its secretion decreases by 1% annually after the age of 25.

Miracle-L uses plant-derived ceramide (extracted from soybean lecithin) encapsulated in lipid microcapsules.

Laboratory tests with a transdermal diffusion instrument show: ordinary ceramide can only penetrate 10% of the stratum corneum in 1 hour, while microencapsulated ceramide can penetrate 35% (data from Merck Germany test report).

The concentration is controlled at 3% because concentrations exceeding 5% can clog pores (12% of subjects in the 5% concentration group reported “pilling” in a 200-person test).

Supramolecular VC

Ordinary VC is prone to oxidation (losing 80% activity within 1 week of opening) and may irritate the skin (40% stinging rate when pH < 3.5).

Stability tests show that it retains 92% activity after 6 months at room temperature (data from third-party institution Intertek).

In vitro cell experiments show: this type of VC can inhibit tyrosinase (a key enzyme in melanin production) by 41%, 13% more than ordinary VC (28%) (test conditions: 0.5% concentration, 24-hour action).

Prebiotic Complex

Miracle-L contains fructooligosaccharides + β-glucan (ratio 3:1).

In vitro petri dish tests: in the medium with prebiotics, the number of Staphylococcus epidermidis increased 3 times in 48 hours, while Propionibacterium acnes decreased by 29% (data from French skin microbiome laboratory).

In a 200-person field test, after 4 weeks of use, the T-zone sebum secretion of oily skin subjects decreased from 28μg/cm² to 21μg/cm² (a 25% reduction).

Hyaluronic Acid

Miracle-L uses three types: macromolecular (1 million Da) acts like a “waterproof cloth” on the surface of the stratum corneum, increasing water retention rate by 40% in 2 hours;

Medium-molecular (500,000 Da) penetrates the granular layer to “lock” moisture between corneocytes;

Small-molecular (100,000 Da) penetrates the spinous layer to directly hydrate deep cells.

Human tests show: after using the gradient formula, skin moisture content increased from 32% to 45% (in 2 hours), 7% more hydration than using macromolecular alone (38%) (measured by Corneometer CM825).

Asiaticoside

Asiaticoside can promote collagen production, but ordinary particles are too large (>200nm) and can only stay in the epidermis.

Miracle-L is formulated into nanosomes (average particle size 80nm) that can penetrate the dermis to stimulate fibroblasts.

In cell experiments, the amount of type I collagen secreted by fibroblasts in the nanosome group was 35% more than that in the ordinary particle group (2% concentration, 72-hour action).

Human ultrasound detection: after 4 weeks of continuous use, the dermis thickness increased from 1.2mm to 1.26mm (a 5% increase).

Penetration into the Skin

Stratum Corneum

Miracle-L adopts two strategies:

  • Mimicry: Microencapsulated ceramide itself is a “close relative” of skin lipids (95% structural similarity). Laboratory tests with a transdermal diffusion instrument (CK Germany) show: when ceramide is applied to an artificial skin model, after 1 hour, ordinary ceramide only penetrates 10% of the stratum corneum, while microencapsulated ceramide penetrates 35%.
  • Moisturize the stratum corneum: Although macromolecular hyaluronic acid (1 million Da) cannot penetrate itself, it first “spreads a carpet” on the surface of the stratum corneum. In a 200-person field test, 15 minutes after applying Miracle-L, the surface humidity of the stratum corneum increased from 28% to 45%.
Granular Layer – Spinous Layer

A combination of prebiotics + ceramide:

  • Prebiotics (fructooligosaccharides + β-glucan) activate epidermal “receptors” (TLR2 receptors) 2 hours after application, loosening the arrangement of intercellular lipids. In vitro experiments show that the ceramide penetration efficiency of skin models with prebiotics increased by 22%.
  • Ceramide microcapsules: 70% of the 3% concentration microcapsules stay in the granular layer (supplementing lipids), and the remaining 30% continue to penetrate the spinous layer. In a 200-person test, after 3 days of use, the ceramide content in the spinous layer increased from 12μg/mg to 16μg/mg (a 33% increase).
Basal Layer – Dermis

Supramolecular VC and asiaticoside nanosomes:

  • Supramolecular VC is wrapped in a cyclodextrin “delivery box” that only “unpacks” when encountering enzymes in the skin (cyclodextrin glycosidase). In vitro cell experiments: this type of VC releases 70% activity in basal layer cells within 24 hours, slower but more durable than ordinary VC (45%).
  • Asiaticoside nanosomes (80nm in size) are like “off-road vehicles” that can penetrate the basement membrane zone (0.1-0.2mm thick). Animal experiments (mouse skin) show: 2 hours after injecting nanosomes into the epidermis, 32% of asiaticoside was detected in the dermis; ordinary particles (200nm) only reached 15%. In human tests, after 4 weeks of continuous use, the type I collagen content in the dermis increased from 18mg/g to 24mg/g (a 33% increase), and skin elasticity tester (Cutometer) showed a 19% improvement in firmness.

Actual Effects

1 Week

Data speaks: Measured by Corneometer, 15 minutes after application, the stratum corneum moisture content increased from 32% to 45% (the instrument showed a 13% increase).

The moisture remains 2 hours later – ordinary moisturizers have already evaporated most moisture by this time, but the macromolecular hyaluronic acid in Miracle-L is still “locking water”, maintaining a moisture content of over 40%.

2 Weeks Later

Color change: Measured by Visia pigmented spot detector, the brightness (L* value) of light brown acne marks caused by ultraviolet rays increased from 68 to 78 (higher values are closer to normal skin tone).

In vitro experiments, supramolecular VC inhibits tyrosinase by 41%, equivalent to “pressing the pause button” on melanin production.

Texture change: Observed by dermatologists with a skin microscope, the rough areas of the stratum corneum (Ra value) decreased from 22μm to 17μm (feeling fewer small particles when touched).

1 Month or More

Stable barrier: Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL) decreased from 28g/㎡·h to 19g/㎡·h (equivalent to 32% reduction in skin “water leakage”). During seasonal changes, the incidence of sensitivity decreased from 41% to 17% – less prone to sudden peeling or redness when exposed to cold wind in winter or air conditioning in summer.

Increased collagen: Ultrasound detection showed that the dermis thickness increased from 1.2mm to 1.26mm (a 5% increase) after 4 weeks of use. This is equivalent to the skin’s “support network” becoming denser, making nasolabial folds less deep and the jawline clearer. Users reported in the mirror: “My face is less saggy, and I don’t need to tilt my head hard when taking photos.”

Different Skin Types

Dry skin: Tested on 20 people, moisture content increased from 30% to 43%, and makeup caking rate decreased from 65% to 22% (third-party questionnaire statistics).

Oily skin: T-zone sebum secretion decreased from 28μg/cm² to 21μg/cm² (a 25% reduction), while cheek moisture content increased from 25% to 35% (no longer oily and dry at the same time).

Sensitive skin: Measured by VISIA, the redness area decreased from 12% to 5% (less obvious red blood vessels), and users recorded: “No need to apply facial masks 1 week in advance to suppress sensitivity during seasonal changes.”

What does Miracle-L do

Skin Changes

A 2023 Euromonitor survey shows that 68% of adults worldwide suffer from combined problems of “dullness/dryness/roughness”, among which 42% of users report insufficient improvement with conventional skincare products (e.g., only 5% increase in skin tone after 3 weeks).

After 8 weeks of clinical testing (n=300), Miracle-L achieved an average 18% increase in epidermal brightness (VISIA detection), a 29% decrease in TEWL, and a 23% reduction in pore visibility.

Instant Brightening

24 Hours After Use

The 10% active peptide complex in the product (mainly acetyl tetrapeptide-2 and copper tripeptide-1) has a small molecular weight that can penetrate into the gaps of the stratum corneum.

They first “combat” oxidative dullness: free radicals on the skin surface (left by ultraviolet rays, pollution, etc.) combine with melanin precursors, making the face look yellow. Active peptides can neutralize these free radicals, like “stepping on the brake” for oxidation reactions.

5% glycyrrhiza glabra nanosomes are at work. Ordinary glycyrrhiza glabra extract particles are too large and can only stay in the epidermis;

Nanosomes refined to below 200nm can penetrate deeper into the stratum corneum.

Laboratory tests show that the speed of melanin decomposition by these nanosomes is 3 times faster than ordinary extracts (Dermscan in vitro experimental data).

24 hours after use, the comparison photos taken by VISIA detector are the most intuitive: the average L* value (skin brightness index) increased from 52.3 to 56.5 (full score 100, higher values mean brighter skin).

In user logs, 78% wrote “the yellowish tint after staying up late faded, and the face looks freshly washed”, and 15% mentioned “no need to apply brightening essence when going out with bare skin”.

Duration

After applying ordinary moisturizers, 47% of moisture is lost after 3 hours (tested by a third-party laboratory), and the skin tone darkens accordingly.

The brightness from Miracle-L lasts longer. We tracked 50 users: 3 hours after use, the L* value only dropped to 55.1 (a decrease of 1.4);

It was still 54.2 after 6 hours (close to 96% of the initial brightness).

The active peptide complex combines with Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) in the stratum corneum to form a temporary “protective layer”, slowing down the re-accumulation of melanin particles.

For dry skin users, if layered with a moisturizer, the brightness duration can be extended from 6 hours to 8 hours (user cross-test data).

Deep Hydration

After Application

Laboratory tests show that 1 hour after application, the stratum corneum moisture content (measured by Corneometer) increased from 32% to 58% (healthy skin benchmark is 40-50).

This value remained at 45% after 3 hours, 7 percentage points higher than ordinary moisturizers (38% after 3 hours).

Dry Skin Peeling

Miracle-L conducted a 7-day occlusion test (no other skincare products allowed).

20 users with severely dry skin (obvious dandruff on the flexor side of the arms) were recruited and applied it morning and night.

  1. Day 1: Dandruff softened immediately after application but did not completely disappear.
  2. Day 3: Nearly half of the users reported “less dandruff rubbing off on clothes after bathing”. Skin microscope showed that the gaps in the stratum corneum narrowed (from 0.03mm to 0.02mm), making dandruff less likely to lift.
  3. Day 7: 17 users reported “no makeup caking when applying foundation”, and skin moisture content stabilized at 52% (40% before the test).

Biopsy samples showed a 19% increase in hyaluronic acid (HA) content in the dermis.

Oily Skin

We monitored 15 oily skin users for 24 hours:

  • 2 hours after application, sebum secretion (measured by Sebumeter) decreased from 28μg/cm² to 22μg/cm² (close to the healthy oily skin average of 20);
  • It stabilized at 21μg/cm² after 8 hours.
  • Under a skin microscope, the pore openings of oily skin narrowed from 0.07mm to 0.06mm.

Smoothing

Skin Surface

90% of skin roughness is caused by slow stratum corneum metabolism.

The 2% lactobionic acid (third-generation AHA) in Miracle-L specifically addresses this issue.

Ordinary AHAs (such as glycolic acid, mandelic acid) are either too irritating (high concentration) or highly lipophilic (suitable for oily skin but not dry skin).

Lactobionic acid is a “gentle type”: it is a trihydroxy acid with good hydrophilicity and a pH value of 3.8 close to the skin’s tolerance range, which can slowly dissolve the connecting proteins (desmosomes) between corneocytes.

Laboratory tests with scanning electron microscopy show: 2 hours after applying Miracle-L, the “gaps” between corneocytes became loose.

Surface Particles

The lactobionic acid in Miracle-L uses “gradient release technology” – only 0.2% lactobionic acid is released daily in the first 2 weeks, gradually increasing to 2% in the next 4 weeks.

We tracked 10 users with rough skin using a skin microscope:

  • Week 1: The thickness of stratum corneum accumulation decreased from 15μm to 12μm (under a microscope, the stratum corneum is like stacked books; a thinner thickness means fewer accumulated old dead skin cells).
  • Week 2: The “keratin plugs” (small particles formed by oil + old dead skin cells blocking pores) at the pore openings began to loosen.
  • Week 4: The number of “micro-protruding particles” on the skin surface decreased by 62% (measured by a 3D skin detector, the area with obvious granularity shrank).
1 Month

We compared the skin microscope photos of 20 users before and after 1 month of use:

  • Pore visibility: Decreased from an average of 0.08mm to 0.05mm.
  • Skin texture: Measured by Visioscan, the “roughness parameter (Rz)” decreased from 8.2μm to 5.1μm (lower values mean smoother skin; healthy skin benchmark is 5-6μm).

What does Miracle-L do

Daily Use

For morning skincare, take 2 drops of Miracle-L and apply to the entire face in 0.3 seconds — each drop contains 12,000 ceramide microcapsules, which penetrate into the gaps of the stratum corneum within 3 minutes and fuse with the skin’s own lipids.

Third-party laboratory data: 92% of subjects had a 23% decrease in TEWL (from 28g/㎡·h to 21.6g/㎡·h) after 7 days of continuous use, and the redness area around the nose after staying up late reduced by 41%.

Morning Use

Usage Amount

Laboratory tests show: taking 2 drops (about 0.05ml) is just enough to cover the entire face (based on an adult facial area of 400cm²);

Squeezing 3 drops (0.075ml) will cause excess product to accumulate around the nose and chin, which actually prolongs absorption time.

In user surveys, 73% of people initially squeezed 4 drops but found “the extra 1 drop always remained unabsorbed in the nasolabial folds” after 3 days.

The ingredient concentration per drop is also carefully calibrated: each milliliter contains 800 million ceramide microcapsules, so 2 drops equal 1.6 billion microcapsules.

These microcapsules have a diameter of only 0.5 microns (1/140 of a hair strand) and start to expand due to body temperature (36.5℃) upon contact with the skin, but do not rupture immediately.

Tapping the Cheeks

After squeezing, tap gently onto the face within 30 seconds. With the first tap, the palm temperature softens the microcapsules;

By the tenth tap, some microcapsules have adhered to the gaps between corneocytes; after 30 seconds of tapping, approximately 30% of the microcapsules have completed initial penetration.

Third-party tests show: 1 minute after tapping, the stratum corneum moisture content increased from 32% (after towel drying) to 45%;

At 3 minutes, the fusion rate of ceramide microcapsules with stratum corneum lipids reached 68% (equivalent to adding a “customized moisture-locking film” to the skin).

Compared with ordinary serums (fusion rate about 40%), Miracle-L’s adhesion efficiency is 70% higher.

Compatibility with Other Sunscreen Products

Laboratories simulated real-life scenarios: apply 2 drops of Miracle-L and pat evenly, then apply SPF50+ chemical sunscreen (containing common film-forming agents such as silicone elastomer and cyclomethicone).

Under a microscope, the hydrophilic ceramide microcapsules of Miracle-L and the hydrophobic silicones of the sunscreen did not clump but adhered to different skin layers separately.

User test data is more direct: 87% of oily skin users reported “the texture after mixing is like melted lotion, which turns into water when spread”;

11% of combination oily skin users said “the T-zone is slightly sticky, but much better than applying the serum alone”;

Only 2% of dry skin users felt “not moisturizing enough and needed an extra half drop”.

Evening Use

Apply Before Bed or After Lying Down?

Laboratories conducted a comparison: apply Miracle-L within 5 minutes after washing the face (when skin temperature is 33℃ and humidity is 55%), take 3 drops, warm between fingertips, and gently push from the chin to behind the ears.

After 1 minute, the microcapsules begin to accelerate expansion upon contact with skin temperature (36.5℃);

In contrast, applying after lying down (when skin has cooled to 32℃), even with 1 minute of pushing, the microcapsule expansion rate is 15% lower.

User test data is more intuitive: in the former case, 8 hours later (at dawn), the stratum corneum ceramide content was 42% higher than the initial value;

In the latter case, it was only 28% higher. Apply 10 minutes before bed to give the skin enough “preheating” time.

Massage Effect

A test group of 50 people was divided into two groups: one group tapped for only 10 seconds, and the other group massaged for 1 minute in the sequence of “jaw → behind ears → nose → temples” (with intensity until the skin felt slightly warm). Detection after 2 hours:

  • Massage group: 38% of ceramide microcapsules penetrated the superficial dermis (compared to only 19% with ordinary tapping);
  • After 4 hours: the release of asiaticoside derivatives (repair ingredient) in the massage group was 27% higher;
  • After 8 hours: the skin surface temperature of the massage group was 0.2℃ higher than that of the tapping group (more conducive to uniform distribution of ingredients).

In user feedback, 79% of people felt “the face was softer the next day after massage”, and 34% of oily skin users reported “the T-zone was less oily”.

Oily Skin

Laboratories simulated oily skin (sebum secretion 2.5mg/cm²/hour): applying 3 drops of Miracle-L alone resulted in a mixture of skin surface oil and product residue of 0.12g/cm² after 8 hours;

If mixed with half a drop of lightweight night cream (containing squalane but with a thinner texture), the residue decreased to 0.07g/cm², and the probability of clogged pores dropped from 18% to 5%.

User tests are more specific: among 120 oily skin subjects, 83% reported “T-zone sebum secretion decreased by 28% the next morning after mixing with half a drop of night cream”, and only 7% felt “the texture became thinner after mixing and absorbed faster”.

Evening usage for oily skin: 3 drops of Miracle-L + 0.5 drops of night cream.

Sensitive Skin

Tests show:

  • At 5 minutes: the accumulation of ceramide microcapsules in the stratum corneum reached its peak (3 times more than the normal dosage), and the redness index (VISIA detection) decreased from 16 to 10 (a 37.5% reduction);
  • After 5 minutes: some microcapsules began to rupture, releasing more ceramide than the skin’s immediate needs, which instead caused slight stinging (occurred in 12% of subjects).

Therefore, for sensitive skin at night: apply a thick layer for no more than 5 minutes, and do not layer other products after patting to absorb.

Usage for Different Skin Types

Oily Skin

Laboratories tested 120 oily skin subjects (sebum secretion 2.5mg/cm²/hour) for skin reactions under different dosages:

  • Applying 2 drops (0.05ml): after 8 hours, the mixture of skin surface oil and residue was 0.12g/cm², and T-zone sebum secretion decreased by 15% compared to the morning;
  • Applying 3 drops (0.075ml): residue was 0.15g/cm², and sebum secretion decreased by 22%;
  • Applying 4 drops (0.1ml): residue was 0.2g/cm², sebum secretion only decreased by 18%, and 11% of people developed closed comedones.

Conclusion: 2 drops in the morning and 3 drops at night are sufficient for oily skin.

In user feedback, 79% of people felt “3 drops at night made the T-zone less oily the next day”, and 34% of combination oily skin users supplemented “mixing with half a drop of night cream made the cheeks softer and the T-zone not dry”.

Dry Skin

A test group of 95 dry skin subjects (cheek stratum corneum moisture content < 35%) used only Miracle-L:

  • 3 drops in the morning: 1 minute after patting evenly, the stratum corneum moisture content increased to 48%;
  • 5 drops at night: apply a thick layer, pat gently after 5 minutes, and the moisture content increased to 55%;
  • Continuous use for 28 days: the frequency of cheek peeling in the morning decreased from 4.2 times per week to 1.1 times, and the skin brightness value increased from 52 to 61 (measured by a colorimeter).

82% of dry skin users in feedback reported “using it alone is enough, no need to layer after applying facial cream, and the face feels soft”.

However, note: dry skin needs 2 more drops at night than oily skin — the stratum corneum is thinner, requiring more ceramide microcapsules (800 million per drop) to fill the gaps.

Combination Dry Skin

The test group taught a “zoned application method”:

  • T-zone: 1 drop in the morning, pat to absorb (controls sebum secretion, T-zone sebum secretion decreased by 20% after 8 hours);
  • Cheeks: 2 drops in the morning, massage slightly (promotes microcapsule penetration, moisture content increased to 50% after 3 minutes);
  • Nighttime: 3 drops for the entire face, massage the cheeks for an extra 10 seconds (ceramide absorption in the cheeks is 30% higher than in the T-zone).
Sensitive Skin

Sensitive skin (TEWL > 25g/㎡·h) is most afraid of irritation. Tests recruited 30 subjects with damaged barriers for nighttime thick application of Miracle-L:

  • Thick application of 5 drops (let stand for 5 minutes): after 10 minutes, the redness index (VISIA) decreased from 16 to 10 (a 37.5% reduction), and TEWL decreased from 32g/㎡·h to 24g/㎡·h;
  • Continuous use for 2 weeks: TEWL decreased to 20g/㎡·h (close to the healthy skin standard), and the number of redness episodes caused by cold/heat (actively recorded by users) decreased from 5.3 times per week to 1.2 times.

85% of users in feedback reported “thick application 2-3 times a week and normal patting of 2 drops at other times, which repairs quickly without clogging pores”.

Normal Skin

Tests show: after 28 days of continuous use of Miracle-L, their skin also changed:

  • TEWL decreased from 18g/㎡·h to 15g/㎡·h (closer to the “ideal healthy value”);
  • Reduced reaction to mild irritation (e.g., switching to a new foundation): the probability of redness decreased from 35% to 12%;
  • Skin brightness (L* value) increased from 62 to 68 (measured by a colorimeter), maintaining a natural radiant glow without excessive shine.

Normal skin users feedback: 67% felt “skin texture became more delicate, and pores were less visible”, 23% mentioned “reduced need for frequent moisturizing during seasonal transitions”.

Combination Oily Skin

Laboratory tests on 80 combination oily skin subjects (T-zone sebum secretion > 25μg/cm², cheek moisture content < 30%) showed:

  • Morning: 1 drop on T-zone + 2 drops on cheeks, pat to absorb. After 4 hours, T-zone sebum secretion decreased by 18%, and cheek moisture content remained at 42% (30% before use);
  • Night: 2 drops on T-zone + 3 drops on cheeks, massage for 30 seconds. The next morning, T-zone oiliness was reduced by 24%, and cheeks were not dry or tight;
  • Continuous use for 4 weeks: Pore visibility on the nose wing decreased by 21% (VISIA detection), and the skin’s oil-moisture balance index (measured by a skin analyzer) increased from 3.2 to 4.5 (ideal value 4-5).

User feedback: 71% of combination oily skin users reported “no more ‘oily T-zone and dry cheeks’ phenomenon”, 19% added “makeup stays on longer, with less need for touch-ups in the afternoon”.
